The short version: the calculators run in your browser and the site keeps no account, profile or record of what you enter. Advertising partners may set cookies, and you can control that.
What the calculators do with your inputs
Balances, ages, benefits, dates and filing status are processed entirely in your browser by JavaScript. They are not transmitted to Retirematics's servers and are not stored by the site. When you use "Copy link to this result", your inputs are written into the page address so the link reproduces the result; anyone you share that link with can see those inputs. Clear the address bar or use the calculator without the link if you prefer not to.
What the site collects automatically
The site is served by Cloudflare, which processes standard request data (IP address, user agent, requested page, timestamp) to deliver pages and protect against abuse. Cloudflare retains this in aggregate server logs under its own privacy policy. Retirematics may use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which reports page views and performance in aggregate and does not use cookies or track individuals across sites.
Retirematics also uses Google Analytics 4, once the property is connected, to understand which pages are visited and how visitors arrive. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies to distinguish visitors and receives page, device and approximate location data; IP addresses are not stored. For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, analytics cookies are not set unless consent is given, and Google Analytics receives only cookieless, aggregated signals. You can opt out everywhere with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. How Google uses this data is described at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Advertising and cookies
Retirematics may display advertisements served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites, and to measure ad performance. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and other sites on the internet.

Advertising is not running on this site yet. When it starts, visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland will see a consent dialog from a Google-certified consent management platform before any advertising cookie is set, and a link in the footer will reopen it so the choice can be changed. Until then no advertising cookies are set at all, and analytics storage is denied by default in those regions.
Affiliate links
There are no affiliate links on this site at present: every outbound link goes to a government agency or a source of statutory text. If commercial links are added later they will be labelled, this section will say so, and the mechanism is the usual one — the destination may set a cookie to attribute a purchase, and Retirematics would receive aggregate reporting from those programs, never your personal details.
What the site does not do
- No accounts, sign-ups, newsletters or forms that collect personal data.
- No selling or sharing of personal information for money.
- No content directed at children under 13, and no knowing collection of their data.
Your rights
Because Retirematics holds no personal data about you, there is nothing to access, correct or delete on request — but if you believe otherwise, email support@retirematics.com and it will be looked into. Residents of the EEA and UK have rights under the GDPR, and California residents under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know what data is collected and to opt out of its sale or sharing; the cookie controls above are the mechanism for advertising data.
If you email support@retirematics.com, the message and your address are kept for as long as needed to respond and to keep a record of data corrections. They are not added to any list.
Changes
Changes to this policy are published on this page with a new "last updated" date. Material changes will be noted on the home page for 30 days.
